If you're driving, start your journey from Quito, the capital of Ecuador. Take the E28 highway towards the northwest, passing through Los Bancos. Continue on the E28 until you reach the town of Mashpi. The lodge is located at Reserva Privada Mashpi, Mashpi 150150. Once you arrive in Mashpi, look for signs directing you to Mashpi Lodge, which is about a 20-minute drive from the main road. Be prepared for some winding roads and mountainous terrain.

From Quito, you can take a bus to Los Bancos. Buses leave from the Carcelén bus terminal. The cost is approximately $3-5 and the journey takes about 2-3 hours.
