Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the central park of Ambato (Parque Cevallos), head east on Avenida Cevallos until you reach the intersection with Calle 12 de Noviembre. Turn left onto Calle 12 de Noviembre and continue walking straight. You will pass by various shops and local eateries. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with Avenida Los Chasquis. From here, continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you see the signs for Nuestra Señora del Rosario de Agua Santa Church. The church is situated on a hill, so you may need to walk slightly uphill.

• Public Transport

  From the central bus terminal in Ambato, take a local bus heading towards Baños de Agua Santa. Buses to Baños are frequent and will cost around $1. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Baños, get off at the main bus terminal. From there, walk towards the main square and ask for directions to the church, which is located on a hill a short distance away. It's a pleasant walk, and you will see signs pointing towards the church.

• Taxi

  If you prefer not to walk or take public transport, you can hail a taxi from anywhere in Ambato. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Nuestra Señora del Rosario de Agua Santa Church. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic and will cost approximately $5-7. The taxi will drop you off near the entrance of the church.
