Car Rental
If you're traveling by car, start in the city of Quito. Head northwest towards the E28 highway. Continue on E28 for approximately 2 hours until you reach the town of Sangolquí. From Sangolquí, take the E20 road towards the town of La Independencia. After about 30 minutes, you will see signs for Mashpi Lodge. Follow the signs to the Mashpi road, which will lead you directly to the lodge. Be aware that the last segment of the drive is on a dirt road, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Parking is available at the lodge.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, start your journey at the Quitumbe Bus Terminal in Quito. Look for buses heading to the town of Sangolquí.
