From Ayampe Beach, head southwest on Ruta del Spondylus (E15) towards Salango. Continue for approximately 15 minutes, passing through the small town of Montañita. Once you reach the Salango area, look for signs directing you to Mirador de Salango. The observation deck is located on a hill, so you may need to park at a designated area and walk a short distance uphill to reach the viewpoint. Make sure to arrive before 7 PM, as the site closes at this time.

From Ayampe Beach, you can take a local bus heading towards Salango. Buses run frequently throughout the day, and the fare is usually quite low (around $1). Inform the driver that you wish to get off at Salango. Once you arrive in Salango, look for signs to guide you to Mirador de Salango or ask locals for directions. The viewpoint is a short uphill walk from the bus stop.
