Getting There

    From Ayampe Beach, head north on the main road (Ecuador Route 15) towards Machalilla National Park. Continue for approximately 7 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Machalilla National Park. The entrance fee is around $10 per person. After entering the park, follow the signs to Playa Coral. The road may be unpaved, so proceed with caution. Continue for about 2 kilometers until you reach the parking area near the beach.

  • Public Transportation

    From Ayampe Beach, take a local bus heading to Puerto López. This bus typically costs around $1. After about 15 minutes, get off at the Machalilla National Park entrance. From there, you will need to walk for approximately 2 kilometers to reach Playa Coral. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as the path may be uneven.

    If you are already in Ayampe Beach and prefer to walk, you can head towards the main road (Ecuador Route 15) and walk north towards Machalilla National Park.
