From Ayampe Beach, start by heading southwest on the main road (Ruta del Spondylus). Continue driving for about 5 km until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Machalilla National Park. Turn left at the intersection. Follow this road for approximately 2 km until you arrive at Playa Tortuguita, which is located at G674+HWG in Machalilla. Make sure to look for parking options nearby as the area might be busy during peak hours.

Public Transportation
To reach Playa Tortuguita via public transportation, start at the Ayampe Beach bus stop. Look for a bus heading towards Puerto López, which should cost around $0.50. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Machalilla National Park entrance. From there, you can either walk (about 30 minutes) or take a local taxi (approximately $5) to Playa Tortuguita. Ensure you have small change for the bus fare.

Walking
If you are already at Ayampe Beach and prefer walking, head towards the main exit of the beach area. Follow the coastal path leading to the main road. Once you reach the main road, continue south for about 5 km until you see signs for Playa Tortuguita. The walk will take you approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
