Car
If you are driving from Machala, take the E25 highway heading towards the north. Continue on E25 for approximately 40 kilometers until you reach the intersection near the town of Zaruma. Follow the signs for Zaruma and take the road that leads you into the town. Once in Zaruma, navigate to the coordinates 897Q+3JH, which is located centrally in the town. The drive should take around one hour depending on traffic.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Machala, head to the main bus terminal and look for a bus heading towards Zaruma. The buses leave regularly, approximately every 30 minutes. The cost for the bus ticket is around $2-3 USD. The bus ride takes about 1.5 hours. Ask the driver to let you know when you arrive in Zaruma. Once you arrive, you can walk or take a taxi to the location at 897Q+3JH.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct method, you can hire a taxi from any location in El Oro Region to take you to Zaruma. Depending on your starting point, the fare may vary, but expect to pay around $30-50 USD from Machala to Zaruma. Make sure to negotiate the price before starting your journey. The taxi ride will take about an hour.
