If you are driving, start from the city of Machala. Head southeast on the E40 highway towards Zaruma. After approximately 60 kilometers, take the exit towards Zaruma. Continue straight until you reach the town of Zaruma. From Zaruma, use a GPS or a map app to navigate to the coordinates 896P+PH6, which is the location for Mina el Sexmo. The drive will take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic and road conditions.

To reach Mina el Sexmo using public transportation, first, travel to Zaruma by taking a bus from Machala. Buses to Zaruma leave regularly from the Machala bus terminal and the journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Zaruma, you can either take a taxi or walk to the coordinates 896P+PH6. A taxi from the bus terminal to Mina el Sexmo should cost around $3 to $5. Make sure to agree on the fare before getting in the taxi.
