Cacao Farm & Chocolate tasting with a visit to Jubones desert
A unique experience with an opportunity to actually make chocolate, and we were fed a great meal by a lovely family.
Our guide was very friendly. Sometimes he had difficulty understanding questions in English. It was his first trip to the farm, and he handled things well. We took this trip a year earlier in 2025, and mid-way we had a needed rest stop at a nice soda shop with a sit down place and a nice view, but that was not included this year—only a quick rest stop at a gas station. Main concern about this trip was an $18/ea surcharge that was not mentioned on the web site. This is an increase in cost of more than 20%!
