If you are staying in Santa Cruz Island, you can take a public bus from the main bus terminal in Puerto Ayora to the Charles Darwin Research Station. The bus departs regularly throughout the day. Make sure to check the schedule at the terminal. The fare is usually around $0.50. The bus ride takes approximately 10 minutes. Once you get off, follow the signs towards the research station, which is located at Ave Charles Darwin 854.
Walking
If you are already in the town of Puerto Ayora, the Charles Darwin Research Station is within walking distance. From the main pier, head northeast along Avenida Charles Darwin. It is about a 15-20 minute walk, approximately 1.5 km. Follow the street signs, and you will see the entrance to the station on your left.
Taxi
For a more convenient option, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Puerto Ayora to the Charles Darwin Research Station. The taxi fare should be around $1-2 depending on your starting location. Just tell the driver 'Charles Darwin Research Station' or show them the address: Ave Charles Darwin 854.
