From the central area of Guayaquil, head to the nearest bus terminal such as Terminal Terrestre. Take any bus heading towards the downtown area or the Malecon 2000. Disembark at the closest stop to Malecon 2000. From there, walk along the waterfront promenade until you reach the intersection with Avenida 9 de Octubre. Continue straight until you see the bridge in the distance.

Take the Metrovía system from any station. If you are near Estación Central, board the Metrovía bus heading towards the south (Estación Sur). Get off at the stop 'Avenida de las Américas' and then walk west towards the river. Follow the path along the river, and you will eventually see the Puente Zigzag ahead.
