Car
If you are in Guayaquil, start your journey by taking the E40 highway towards Durán. Continue on the E40 for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the junction with the E25 highway. Take the E25 heading south. After about 45 minutes, you will see signs directing you to Cerrado. Continue on this road for about 15 minutes, following local road signs that lead to Cerrado. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
From Guayaquil, head to the main bus terminal, Terminal Terrestre. Look for buses heading towards Naranjal or Durán, as these routes will get you closer to Cerrado. The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour and costs around $1.50. Upon arrival at either Naranjal or Durán, you can take a local taxi or a shared van (called 'taxi colectivo') to Cerrado. This will cost you an additional $2 to $3 and take about 15-20 minutes.
