Walking
If you are starting from the central area of Ibarra, make your way to Av. 10 de Agosto, which is one of the main avenues. Head north until you reach the intersection with Av. Atahualpa. Turn left onto Av. Atahualpa and continue walking straight. Caranqui Park will be on your right after approximately 15-20 minutes of walking. Look for the park entrance, which is marked and easily recognizable.
Public Bus
From the central bus terminal in Ibarra, catch a bus heading towards Caranqui. Buses are frequent and should be easily identifiable. Ask the bus driver or the attendant to let you know when you reach the Caranqui stop. Once you disembark, walk a short distance down Av. Atahualpa to find Caranqui Park on your left.
