Walking
From the central Plaza de Macas, head southeast on Calle 9 de Octubre. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenida 15 de Noviembre. Turn left onto Avenida 15 de Noviembre and continue for approximately 300 meters. When you reach the roundabout, take the first exit onto Calle 1 de Mayo. Keep walking for another 200 meters until you see a large monument ahead. You have arrived at Monumento a los macabeos, located at MVQG+773.

From the main bus terminal in Macas, take any local bus heading towards the city center. Ask the driver to drop you off near the Plaza de Macas. Once you get off, head southeast on Calle 9 de Octubre for about 500 meters. Turn left onto Avenida 15 de Noviembre and walk for around 300 meters. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Calle 1 de Mayo. Continue for another 200 meters, and you will see Monumento a los macabeos ahead at MVQG+773.
