Car
If you are driving from Mindo Cloud Forest to Catequilla in Quito, start by heading north on the E28 highway. Continue on the E28 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with the E35 highway. Take the exit onto E35 and continue driving for around 15 kilometers. Follow the signs for 'Quito' and merge onto Avenida Simón Bolívar. Stay on this road for about 10 kilometers, then take the exit toward 'La Carolina' and follow the signs to Catequilla. You should arrive at your destination in approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Public Transportation
To reach Catequilla from Mindo Cloud Forest using public transportation, first take a bus from Mindo to Quito. Buses leave frequently from the Mindo bus terminal. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Quitumbe bus terminal in Quito, you can take a taxi or local bus to get to Catequilla. If taking a taxi, simply tell the driver 'Catequilla' and they will take you directly. If you prefer to take a local bus, look for the buses heading towards La Carolina or San Antonio de Pichincha, and ask the driver to drop you off at Catequilla.
