Car
If you're driving, head towards Mindo from Quito on the E28 highway. Once you reach Mindo, follow the signs for 'Las Cascadas' (the waterfalls). Continue on Vía a Las Cascadas for about 3 kilometers until you see the sign for Reserva Las Tangaras on your left. There is parking available on-site.
Public Transportation
To reach Reserva Las Tangaras using public transportation, take a bus from Quito to Mindo. Buses depart frequently from the Quitumbe bus terminal. Once you arrive in Mindo, you can either walk or take a taxi to Vía a Las Cascadas. The taxi ride will cost around $2-3. From the main road, walk about 3 kilometers, and look for the sign for Reserva Las Tangaras on your left.

If you're already in Mindo and prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Reserva Las Tangaras on Vía a Las Cascadas. The ride should cost between $5-7 depending on your starting point in Mindo.
Walking
For those staying in or near Mindo's town center, walking to Reserva Las Tangaras is also an option. From the town square, head towards Vía a Las Cascadas and follow the road for about 3 kilometers. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
