If you are traveling by car, head southeast on the main road (E28) from the center of Mindo. Continue on the E28 for about 7 kilometers. You will see signs for Mindo Lago along the way. Turn left onto Vía a Mindo when you see the sign, and continue for about 2 kilometers. Mindo Lago will be on your right-hand side. There is parking available at the location.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, look for the local buses that run from Mindo town to various destinations in the cloud forest. You should catch a bus heading towards the 'Mindo Lago' stop. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, costing around $1. Once you get off at the Mindo Lago stop, you will need to walk a short distance (about 200 meters) to reach the entrance, which will be on your left.

Walking from central Mindo
If you are in the center of Mindo and prefer to walk, you can take a scenic route. Start from the main square and head towards the E28 road. Follow the road for about 3 kilometers; it’s a pleasant walk with beautiful views of the cloud forest. Make sure to bring water and wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain can be uneven.
