Car
If you're driving from the center of Mindo, head southwest on E28. Continue on this road for about 15 minutes. Look for the sign for San Tadeo Birding approximately 15 minutes before you reach the Y junction in Mindo. The entrance will be on your right at Km77. Make sure to have some cash on hand for any entry fee, if applicable.
Public Transportation
To reach San Tadeo Birding using public transport, catch a bus from the main bus terminal in Mindo. Look for buses heading towards Calacalí or Quito. Inform the driver that you want to stop at San Tadeo Birding, which is located about 15 minutes before reaching the Y junction in Mindo. The fare is typically around $1 to $2. Once you arrive at Km77, you may need to walk a short distance to the entrance.
Walking
If you are nearby and prefer walking, from the center of Mindo, follow the main road (E28) heading southwest. It will take approximately 30-40 minutes to walk to San Tadeo Birding.
