From the center of Mindo, head towards the main square (Plaza del Mindo). Once you reach the square, look for the road that leads out towards the Mindo River. Follow this road for approximately 300 meters until you see a sign indicating the path to Las Cotingas Bird Reserve. The entrance to the reserve will be on your left. It’s a short hike up a well-marked trail, so wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for some elevation.

If you're renting a bicycle, start from the central plaza in Mindo. Take the main road that leads towards the Mindo River and continue on this road for about 1 kilometer.
