Getting There

Walking

From the central square of Mindo, head towards the main road (Ruta E28) that leads out of town. Walk along this road for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the junction where you see a sign for 'Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve'.
Hiking

After reaching the junction, take the dirt path that leads uphill. It’s a well-marked trail, but be prepared for a steep hike. Continue on this path for approximately 30-40 minutes. You will enjoy beautiful views of the cloud forest along the way.
Public Transport (Tuk-Tuk)

Alternatively, from the main square, you can find a tuk-tuk (local taxi) that can take you directly to Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve. Agree on a fare before getting in, and it should take about 30 minutes to reach the lodge. The tuk-tuk will drop you off right at the entrance.
Combination of Walking and Transport

You can also walk to the main road and catch a bus heading towards Tandayapa. Inform the driver you want to stop at Bellavista. Buses run frequently, but check the schedule. After getting off the bus, it’s a short walk downhill to the lodge entrance.
