Car
If you are driving from Mindo town, head west on the main road (Via Mindo) for approximately 9 kilometers. Follow the signs to Tandayapa. Once you reach Tandayapa, look for the sign indicating Pacha Quindi Nature Refuge. The refuge is located at coordinates X8RF+2H7, so you may want to enter this into your GPS. There is a small parking area at the entrance.
Public Transportation
From Mindo, you can take a local bus heading towards Tandayapa. The bus departs from the main square in Mindo. The fare is generally around $1.00 and the journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Inform the driver you want to get off at Pacha Quindi Nature Refuge. After getting off, walk uphill for about 10 minutes following the signs to the refuge.
Walking
If you are already in Tandayapa, you can walk to Pacha Quindi Nature Refuge. Start on the main road heading towards Mindo and look for the signs leading to the refuge. The walk is approximately 1.5 kilometers and takes around 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace. Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way!
