Walking
From the center of Mindo, head towards the main road (Via a Mindo). Continue straight until you reach the bus station at the edge of town. Here, you can catch a bus heading to Quito. The buses are frequent, so don’t worry if you miss one. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride to Quito, which takes about 2-3 hours. When you arrive in Quito, get off at the bus terminal. From the bus terminal, you can either take a taxi or use public transport to reach the Quito Historic Center.
Taxi
After reaching the bus terminal in Quito, you can opt for a taxi to take you directly to the Quito Historic Center. Make sure to agree on a fare before starting the ride. The taxi ride should take around 15-30 minutes depending on traffic. Simply direct the driver to 'QFJP+8RP, García Moreno' or ask them to take you to the historic center, as they are familiar with the area.
Public Transport
Once you arrive at the bus terminal in Quito, look for the Ecovía or Trolebus stations nearby. You can take the Ecovía line in the direction of 'El Recreo' and get off at the 'Plaza de la Independencia' stop. From there, it is a short walk to the Quito Historic Center. Just head towards García Moreno street, and you will find the landmark easily.
