Walking
From the center of Mindo, head towards the main street (Calle 9 de Octubre) and walk until you reach the intersection with Vía a Las Cascadas. Turn left onto Vía a Las Cascadas and continue walking straight. After about 1.5 kilometers, look for signs indicating Reserva Las Tangaras on your right. The entrance is marked, and you will see a small trail leading into the reserve. Be aware that this road is a bit uphill, so wear comfortable shoes.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Mindo. Start on Calle 9 de Octubre and cycle towards Vía a Las Cascadas. Once you reach Vía a Las Cascadas, turn left. Continue cycling for about 1.5 kilometers until you see the signs for Reserva Las Tangaras on your right. The ride is mostly uphill, so be prepared for some effort. Ensure your bike is in good condition for the journey.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the main square in Mindo, look for a local bus heading towards Las Cascadas. Board the bus and pay the fare (it’s usually very inexpensive). Stay on the bus until you reach the stop closest to Reserva Las Tangaras, which should be about 1.5 kilometers from Mindo. Once you get off, walk back a short distance until you see the signs for the reserve on your right. The bus ride will give you a scenic view of the area.
