Walking
From the center of Mindo, start by heading towards the main road (Via Quito - Calacali). You can find signs pointing towards the 'Cascadas' which will guide you. Walk along the main street until you reach the 'Vía Quito - Calacali' road. This journey should take about 10-15 minutes. Once you reach the main road, turn left and continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers.
Bus
At the central bus station in Mindo, look for buses heading towards Quito or Calacali. Ensure you ask the driver if they stop near Sachatamia Lodge or the km 78 marker on the road. The bus ride will take around 10-15 minutes, and you will need to get off at the 'Km 78' stop. From there, it’s a short walk (about 5 minutes) back towards the lodge, following the signs.
Taxi
You can find taxis in the center of Mindo. Tell the driver you want to go to 'Sachatamia Lodge' or 'Km 78 de la Via Quito - Calacali'. The ride should take approximately 5-10 minutes. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.
