Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Baños de Agua Santa. Head southeast on Av. Runtun towards Av. Eugenio Espejo. Continue on this road for about 2.5 kilometers. You will see signs for Cascada de la Virgen along the way. After reaching the junction with JH2M+922, make a left turn and follow the road until you see the parking area for the waterfall. Note that parking may have a small fee, typically around $2.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a local bus from Baños de Agua Santa to the Cascada de la Virgen. Buses leave from the main terminal and run approximately every 30 minutes. The fare is about $1.50. Once you arrive at the stop labeled 'Cascada de la Virgen', you may need to walk a short distance (approximately 10 minutes) down a well-marked path leading to the waterfall. Be sure to check the bus schedule for the return journey.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity and prefer to walk, you can hike to Cascada de la Virgen from the center of Baños. The trail is approximately 3 kilometers and takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Follow the signs along the path, which offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and forests. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the trail can be steep in places.
