Car
If you're driving, start from the center of Archidona. Head southeast on Avenida 15 de Noviembre toward Calle 10 de Agosto. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the E45 highway. Turn right onto E45 (also known as the Pan-American Highway) and follow it for approximately 5 kilometers. Look for signs indicating the turnoff for Cascadas ISLOM. You will take a left turn onto a smaller road, which may not be well marked. Follow this road for about 3 kilometers until you see signs for the waterfalls. Parking is available nearby, and there may be a small fee for entry.
Public Transportation
To reach Cascadas ISLOM by public transportation, first make your way to the main bus terminal in Archidona. Look for buses heading to the nearby town of Tena, as they pass close to the Cascadas ISLOM area. The bus fare is usually around $1 to $2. Once you arrive in Tena, you can take a taxi or a local transport service to the entrance of the waterfalls. Make sure to communicate your destination clearly, as not all drivers will be familiar with Cascadas ISLOM. The taxi ride may cost between $10 to $15, depending on your negotiation skills.
