Car
If you're driving, start from the city of Tena and head west on the E20 road towards Archidona. Continue on this road for about 30 km (approximately 30-40 minutes). As you approach Archidona, follow the signs towards the Jumandy Caves. The caves are located at the coordinates 46F5+V62, which is easily accessible from the main road. There is a small parking area near the entrance, but be prepared to pay a nominal fee for parking.
Public Transportation
To reach Jumandy Caves via public transportation, take a bus from Tena to Archidona. Buses depart frequently from the Tena bus terminal and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Archidona bus terminal, you can either take a taxi or walk to the caves, which are approximately 5 km away. If walking, head west from the bus terminal on the main road until you see signs for the Jumandy Caves. Taxis are readily available and will charge around $5 to $10 to take you directly to the caves.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi from either Tena or Archidona. If you are in Tena, the taxi ride to Jumandy Caves will take about 30 minutes and should cost between $15 and $20. If you are already in Archidona, the taxi ride will be shorter and cost around $5 to $10. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
