If you are traveling by car, start from Tena, the capital of the Napo Province. From Tena, take the E45 highway heading south towards Pano. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will reach the town of Pano. Continue on the E45 for another 7 kilometers until you see a sign for Laguna de Mica. Turn right onto the road leading to the lake. The road may be unpaved, so proceed with caution. After about 3 kilometers, you will reach the entrance to Laguna de Mica. Parking is available near the lake, but it is advisable to check if there are any fees for parking upon arrival.

To reach Laguna de Mica via public transportation, start at the Tena bus terminal. Look for buses heading towards Pano; these typically run every hour.
