If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Archidona. Use your GPS and enter the coordinates 46F5+V62. From the center of Archidona, head southeast on the E20 highway. After approximately 5 kilometers, look for signs directing you to the Jumandy Caves. Turn left onto a smaller road, which will lead you directly to the entrance of the caves. Parking is available on-site, but a small fee may be charged, so keep some cash ready.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Tena to Archidona. Buses run frequently and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Archidona, you can either walk approximately 2 kilometers to the caves or take a local taxi. If you choose the taxi option, ensure you negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around $5 to $10. The taxi will take you directly to the entrance of Jumandy Caves.
