Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major city, which is Cuenca. Take the E582 highway northbound. After approximately 150 kilometers, you will arrive at the town of Alausí. From Alausí, follow the signs to Sibambe. La Nariz del Diablo is located just outside of Sibambe, specifically at Q44C+GR7. Make sure to park in designated areas as parking may be limited.

• Public Transportation

  To reach La Nariz del Diablo via public transportation, take a bus from Cuenca to Alausí. The bus ride takes around 3 hours, and buses leave frequently from the Cuenca bus terminal. Once you arrive in Alausí, you can take another local bus or a taxi to Sibambe. The final destination, La Nariz del Diablo, is approximately 30 minutes away from Alausí. Expect to pay around $5 for the bus fare to Alausí and an additional $2 for the local bus or taxi to Sibambe.

• Walking

  If you are already in Sibambe, you can walk to La Nariz del Diablo. From the center of Sibambe, head towards the main road (Q44C). It is about a 15-20 minute walk. Follow the Q44C road until you see the signs for La Nariz del Diablo. The area is relatively flat, and the walk is quite scenic, showcasing the beautiful landscape of the region.
