From the central market in Otavalo, walk to the bus terminal located on Calle Sucre. Look for buses heading towards Cotacachi or Cuicocha Lake. They typically leave every 30 minutes. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Inform the driver or the assistant that you are going to Cuicocha Lake so they can drop you off at the correct stop.
