Getting There

Walking
From the central plaza of Otavalo (Plaza de los Ponchos), head north towards Calle Sucre. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Avenida 31 de Octubre. Turn left onto Avenida 31 de Octubre and walk for another 5 minutes. You will see the Otavalo sign on your right, located near the entrance of the Parque del Padre Carlos. Look for the colorful letters spelling 'OTAVALO' prominently displayed.

If you have rented a bicycle, start from the main market area (Plaza de los Ponchos). Cycle north on Calle Sucre for about 10 minutes.
