Getting There

Walking
From the central plaza (Plaza de los Ponchos) in Otavalo, head north on Calle Sucre towards Calle 31 de Octubre. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Carr. Panamericana. Turn left onto Carr. Panamericana. Follow the road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see the Quitsato Solar Clock on your right.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the central plaza (Plaza de los Ponchos), walk to the nearest bus stop on Carr. Sucre. Look for a bus heading towards 'Peguche' or 'Atuntaqui'. Once on the bus, ask the driver to drop you off at the Quitsato Solar Clock. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. After disembarking, walk a short distance to the entrance of the clock, which will be visible from the bus stop.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Otavalo. Start your ride from the Plaza de los Ponchos, heading north on Calle Sucre. Continue straight until you reach Carr.
