Bus
From the city center, head to the 'La Mariscal' area where you can find the 'El Colon' bus station. Take bus number 'C1' or 'C2' heading towards 'Guapulo'. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Guapulo' stop, which is near the intersection of 'Calle Guapulo' and 'Calle de los Conquistadores'. From there, walk uphill on 'Calle Guapulo' for about 10 minutes until you see the Guapulo Colonial Church and Convent on your left.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from any location in Quito. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Iglesia y Convento de Guapulo'. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off right at the entrance of the church.
Walking
If you are staying in the 'La Mariscal' district, you can walk to the Guapulo Colonial Church and Convent. Start at 'Plaza Foch' and head southeast on 'Calle Juan Rodríguez' towards 'Calle La Pinta'. Continue straight until you reach 'Calle Guapulo'. Turn left and walk for about 30-35 minutes uphill until you reach the church. The walk offers beautiful views of the town and is a great way to experience the local atmosphere.
