Public Bus
To reach Parque Itchimbía by public bus, start at the 'La Mariscal' area. Locate the nearest bus stop and take the bus headed towards 'El Ejido'. Ensure you get on a bus that displays 'El Ejido' on its route sign. After about 10-15 minutes, get off at the 'El Ejido' stop. From there, walk towards the southeast direction along Avenida 6 de Diciembre for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Calle Itchimbía. Turn left onto Calle Itchimbía and continue walking until you reach Parque Itchimbía.
Trolebus
If you prefer to use the Trolebus, head to the nearest Trolebus station in 'La Mariscal'. Board the Trolebus going towards 'Río Coca'. Ride for about 15-20 minutes and get off at the 'Universidad Central' station. After exiting, walk south towards Avenida Patria, then turn right and head towards the intersection with Calle Itchimbía. Continue walking straight for about 5-10 minutes, and you will arrive at Parque Itchimbía.
Walking
If you are close enough, walking to Parque Itchimbía can be a pleasant experience. From the 'Plaza Foch', head east on Calle Foch and turn left onto Avenida 6 de Diciembre. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Calle Itchimbía. Turn left on Calle Itchimbía and continue walking for about 10-15 minutes. You will see Parque Itchimbía on your right.
Taxi or Rideshare
For a more direct option, consider taking a taxi or rideshare service such as Uber. Simply request a ride to 'Parque Itchimbía, Quito', and the driver will take you directly to the park. This option is convenient and will save you time navigating public transportation.
