Getting There

Walking
If you are staying in the historic area of Quito, you can easily walk to Independence Square. Start on Calle García Moreno, heading towards the intersection with Venezuela Street. Once you reach the intersection, turn left onto Venezuela Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the large open area of Independence Square, which will be on your right. Public Transit (Trolebus)
To get to Independence Square via the Trolebus, find the nearest Trolebus station.
