From central Quito, locate a bus stop where you can catch a bus heading towards 'La Carolina.' Look for routes that mention 'Parque La Carolina' or 'Av. de los Shyris.' Once on the bus, ride until you reach the stop at 'Av. de los Shyris and Rumipamba.' Disembark here and walk along Av. de los Shyris for about 5 minutes until you reach the Japanese Garden, located at Rumipamba E6-264.
Walking from Parque La Carolina
Start at Parque La Carolina, one of the largest parks in Quito. Head towards the northeastern corner of the park and find Av. de los Shyris. Turn left and walk along Av. de los Shyris for about 10-15 minutes. You will see the entrance to the Japanese Garden on your right at Rumipamba E6-264.
