Walking
If you're starting from Plaza Grande, walk southeast towards the intersection of Calle García Moreno and Calle Chile. Continue down Calle García Moreno until you reach the Plaza de la Independencia, then turn left onto Calle Cuenca. The Museo de Arte Colonial will be on your left at Cuenca 6-15, a short walk away.
Bus
From the Plaza Grande, head to the nearest bus stop on Avenida Colón. Take the 'Trolebus' (green bus) heading towards 'El Recreo'. Get off at the 'Universidad Central' stop. From there, walk north along Calle José de Antepara until you reach Calle Cuenca, then turn right. The museum will be at Cuenca 6-15 on your left.
Taxi
You can easily catch a taxi from any point in Quito. Just tell the driver you want to go to 'Museo de Arte Colonial' at Cuenca 6-15. The taxi will take you directly there, and it should not take more than 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local rental service. From Plaza Grande, cycle south down Avenida 10 de Agosto, then take a left onto Calle Cuenca. The Museo de Arte Colonial will be on your right at Cuenca 6-15. Make sure to follow local traffic rules and use bike lanes where available.
