Bus

From the historic center of Quito (Plaza Grande), walk to the nearest bus stop located on Avenida 10 de Agosto. Take the Ecovía bus towards 'Jipijapa' and get off at the 'Universidad Politécnica' station. From there, walk for about 10 minutes towards Avenida Patria. The National Museum of Ecuador is located in the Edificio de los Espejos on Avenida Patria, between Avenida 6 de Diciembre and Avenida 12 de Octubre.

If you are near Parque El Ejido, you can walk to the National Museum. Head east on Avenida Patria, and continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass the Quito Botanical Garden on your right. Keep going until you see the Edificio de los Espejos, where the museum is located.
