From the city center (Plaza Grande), walk to the nearest bus stop. Take bus #E2 or #E3 heading towards La Carolina. Stay on the bus for about 20-30 minutes. Get off at the Av. Río Amazonas stop. From there, walk east along Av. Río Amazonas for about 5 minutes until you reach Vivarium, which will be on your right.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hail a taxi from anywhere in Quito. Simply tell the driver to take you to Vivarium located on Av. Río Amazonas. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.

If you are staying in the La Carolina area, you can walk to Vivarium. Start at Parque La Carolina, head east towards Av. Río Amazonas, then turn left on Av. Río Amazonas. Continue walking for about 10-15 minutes, and you will find Vivarium on your left.

For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in La Carolina. Head towards Av. Río Amazonas, and follow the avenue for about 10 minutes. You will see Vivarium on your left as you approach.
