From the center of Quito, head west on Avenida Amazonas towards Avenida 6 de Diciembre. Continue straight for about 5 km until you reach the intersection with E28. Turn left onto E28 and follow the signs for El Pahuma Orchid Reserve. After about 36 km, you will see signs for the reserve on your right. There is a parking area available.

From the Quito bus terminal (Terminal Terrestre Quitumbe), take a bus heading towards Mindo or La Mitad del Mundo. Inform the driver you want to get off at the El Pahuma Orchid Reserve stop. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the stop, walk back a short distance until you see the entrance to the reserve.
