If you are driving from a location in Sierra, first navigate towards the nearest city with a port to the Galápagos Islands, which is either Guayaquil or Quito. From Guayaquil, take the E40 highway towards Durán, and then the E25 to reach the airport. If you are starting from Quito, take the Pan-American Highway (E35) south to connect to the E40. Upon reaching Guayaquil, head to José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport (GYE). Here, you will need to take a flight to the Galápagos Islands.

To reach Parque Nacional Galápagos via public transportation, start by taking a bus from your location in Sierra to Guayaquil. Once in Guayaquil, head to José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport (GYE) using a taxi or public transit. From the airport, take a flight to either Baltra Island (GPS) or San Cristóbal Island (SCY), which are the main gateways to Parque Nacional Galápagos. Be sure to book your flight in advance, as prices can vary and may cost between $400 to $600 round trip.
