Car
If you are driving from Quito, take the Pan-American Highway (E28) towards Calacalí. Continue on this road for approximately 1.5 hours until you reach the junction near Mindo. Once you see the sign for 'Mindo,' you will be about 15 minutes from San Tadeo Birding. Look for the marker 'Km 77' on the vía Calacalí-La Independencia, and you will see the entrance to San Tadeo Birding shortly after passing the Y intersection. Turn left into the parking area.
Public Transportation
From Quito, board a bus heading to Mindo at the Terminal Quitumbe. The journey takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive in Mindo, you can take a taxi or a local bus towards Calacalí-La Independencia. Inform the driver you are going to 'San Tadeo Birding,' and they will drop you off at Km 77, about 15 minutes before the Y junction. From there, it is a short walk to the entrance of San Tadeo Birding.
