10 Days True Ecuador Experience

The best place to book your Galapagos vacation

Booked a 10 day trip for 16 friends and family. Day trip to Quito, two days in amazon jungle and five days in Galapagos. Worked out details withe Ecuatraveling's owner, Pablo Ramirez. Pablo's customer service is amazing to say the least. Most of us landed at the Quito airport around mid night. Pablo's guys were there with a car to the hotel, that was included in our package. After day trip to Quito city and at the Equator, we moved on to amazon jungle. Flights. boarding passes, luggage all of it was handled expertly by Pablo's people. In amazon jungle we had to expert guides that were excellent. So many unique species of birds and creatures. We stayed at the Yasuni Econolodge. We were treated with the culture of the tribe. Many native tribes are fighting off the offers from oil companies that sell their oil to China. All of us felt really good about supporting the native tribes wanting to maintain their culture. We actually saw the signs of oil drilling on the opposite costs of the Napo river. All the food, boat ride, river canoe, food etc. was included. Did not have to make any of that arrangement ourselves. Pablo was able to include everything in the package. Onward to Galapagos.Government of Ecuador has made the procedure to enter Galapagos very complicated. Pablo comes to rescue. He had the agent of our yacht company there to assist us with the complicated procedure. Even with able assistance it took all 16 of us about two hours, before we can proceed to the Galapagos. In Galapagos, we were there five days and four nights. Alya was the name of our yacht. Luxury is one word that fits very well to Alya. I think everyone that can afford, must visit Galapagos at least one. Starting with life on earth to the evolution of modern human beings and other creatures can be learned in Galapagos. Aside from one of a kind animal and plant species; the process of evolution continues in Galapagos. Good guide can point out how the evolution is an ongoing natural process. Walking in lava fields requires physical dexterity and stamina. As Alya moved from one island to another island; the ocean was rough. So, many in our group had motion sickness. But everyone had behind the ear patches that worked I was the lead for our group. Compared Ecuatraveling's quote with the other US based operators; Ecuatraveling's quote won, hands down. Wonderful experience

Truly very rich and well-organized tour. Our guide, Javier, was exceptional; knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly, he led us to beautiful places and unforgettable experiences. Refined accommodations, especially the one in Mishauallì which was truly wonderful, immersed in the jungle. The program was fully respected and all activities took place without any hitches. Recommended tour!

Amazon Jungle & Baños Adventure City: 4 Days of Nature & Wildlife

Fantastic 4 days we’ll not forget.

We had a fantastic adventure over 4 days travelling over the Andes and down into the Amzaon. Eduardo showed and taught us so much about Ecuador. We really crammed a lot into 4 days, from travelling over the Andes, stops in several towns, thermal baths, walks in the Rainforest, travelling along the Arajuno and Napo Rivers, a visit to Ahuano, to a Forest family and a nearby animal rescue centre, fantastic waterfalls and a great visit to Banos. The lodge, Liana Lodge, was lovely and far enough into the forest to give you a real Amazon experience. Clean, tidy, calming and right on the river. Our room was just the same. The food was freshly cooked, good and enough. The staff were knowledgable and very helpful and friendly. Thanks must go to Angel for being our guide. Eduardo is a friendly and helpful man and told us and showed us so much. The waterfalls were amazing, the views over the Amazon, cable cars across valleys. So much crammed into our trip. He stopped often to allow us to take photos and see many different places and sights and even allowed us to change our itinerary once in Banos. We opted to go Water Rafting on the last day which he arranged ( at our cost) which was fantastic. A memory making 4 days, so thank you Eduardo. This trip was worth every penny.
