Our guide, Mohand, was amazing, so full of knowledge. The atmosphere was exciting. It was crowded, but you expect that at such a famous place. The ship, the Amwaj, was a great base. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. The food was great, a good mix of local and international. It's a trip for families who want to see the best of Egypt. The whole experience was an adventure from start to finish. We made memories that will last a lifetime.

Guide showed us the upgrade value

Our guide Hossam showed us the value of upgrading to domestic flights and private transfers. He calculated the time saved and the comfort gained. We decided to upgrade and it was worth it. We also added an extra night in Cairo which was perfect. We visited the GEM pyramids, Luxor temples, Abydos, and Denderah. The Nubian guest house was beautiful and the desert tent was unforgettable. The 14 days plus extra night were full of adventure and comfort. Admission fee was 1400 usd for the full package plus 150 for upgrades. Length of visit was 14 days plus extra night. West Bank Tombs Temples and Real History

We did the West Bank of Luxor and it was the most intense day of the whole trip. We started at the Valley of the Kings where you go down into the tombs and see the colors still bright after 3000 years. Then we went to Hatshepsut Temple which is carved into the mountain and looks like a modern building. The Colossi of Memnon were quick but impressive two giant statues standing alone in the field. Admission fee was extra for the tomb of Tutankhamun but we paid 500 pounds each to see it and it was worth it. Length of visit was about 5 hours total because there is so much to see. The atmosphere was hot and dusty but exciting like you are a real explorer. Crowd size was big at the main tombs but our guide Omar knew a less crowded tomb with amazing art. The staff included the tomb guards who let us take photos even when signs said no for a small tip. Best for couples who love deep history and don't mind walking. Our guide Omar told us a story about how Howard Carter found Tutankhamun's tomb after years of searching and how the water boy accidentally discovered the first step. That story gave me chills standing right there. The ship crew had cold water waiting for us when we came back exhausted but happy.
