Metro
If you are starting from Tahrir Square, walk to the Sadat Metro Station (approximately 10 minutes on foot). Take the Metro Line 1 (the red line) towards Helwan. Get off at the next stop, which is the 'Giza' station. From there, transfer to a taxi or a microbus, and ask the driver to take you to Al Ashmawi street in the Abdeen district. The mosque is located at 16 Al Ashmawi, Ghayt Al Adah. The taxi ride will take about 15-20 minutes.
Bus
From Tahrir Square, head to the central bus station nearby. Look for a bus going towards Abdeen district. Get off at the stop closest to Al Ashmawi street. Once you disembark, walk towards Al Ashmawi street, and you will find the mosque at number 16. This journey may take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.
Walking
If you are staying in a hotel in downtown Cairo, you can walk to the mosque. Head southeast towards the Abdeen district, following signs to Al Ashmawi street. The walk will take approximately 25-30 minutes. As you walk, enjoy the local shops and cafes along the way. Once you reach Al Ashmawi street, the mosque is located at number 16.
