Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the main entrance of the Giza Plateau, known as the Giza Pyramids entrance. Follow the main road leading to the Pyramids. Continue straight until you reach a roundabout. Take the first exit on the right, and you will see the Pyramids Visitor Centre sign. The centre is located approximately 1 km from the entrance, and parking is available nearby. Please note that there may be a parking fee.
Public Transportation (Taxi)
For those using public transport, the easiest option is to take a taxi. You can hail a taxi from anywhere in Giza Plateau. Simply tell the driver 'Pyramids Visitor Centre' or show them the address: 'X487+696, Al Ahram, Al Haram, Giza Governorate'. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Ensure to agree on the fare beforehand or use a ride-sharing app to avoid confusion.
Public Transportation (Bus)
You can also use local buses that travel around Giza. Look for buses heading towards the Giza Pyramids. The nearest bus stop is located a short walk from the Pyramids Visitor Centre. After you get off, walk towards the pyramids, and you will see the Visitor Centre on your left. Be sure to check the bus schedules as they may vary, and the cost is usually very low (around 5 EGP).
