Walking
If you are near the center of Ismailia, start by heading towards the main street, شارع الجيش (Army Street). Walk along this street until you reach the intersection with شارع 23 يوليو (23rd of July Street). Turn left onto 23 يوليو Street and continue walking straight. You will pass several shops and local cafes. Keep walking until you reach the roundabout known as دوار الشهداء (Martyrs Roundabout). At the roundabout, take the first exit onto الطريق الدائري (Ring Road). Continue along the Ring Road for about 10 minutes on foot, and you will see Roman Square - رومان سكوير on your right. It's a vibrant area with a variety of shops and eateries.

From the Ismailia bus station (محطة الأتوبيس), look for local minibuses heading towards الشيخ زايد (El Sheikh Zayed). Board any bus that indicates it goes to الشيخ زايد. The fare is usually very affordable. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Roman Square - رومان سكوير. The bus will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you will be right at the entrance of the square, where you can explore the area.
