If you are traveling by car, head towards the Aswan Governorate. From the city of Aswan, take the Aswan-Edfu road (Highway 56). It's approximately a 1-hour drive, covering about 110 kilometers. As you approach Edfu, follow the signs to the temple, which is well-marked. There is a parking area near the entrance of the temple. Note that there may be a parking fee of around 20 EGP.
Public Bus
To reach Edfu Temple via public transportation, take a bus from Aswan to Edfu. Buses depart frequently from the main bus station in Aswan. The journey takes about 1.5 hours and costs approximately 30 EGP. Once you arrive in Edfu, you can either walk to the temple (about 15 minutes) or take a local taxi for around 10 EGP.
Train
Another option is to take a train from Aswan to Edfu. Check the train schedule at the Aswan railway station, as trains run several times a day. The journey takes about 1 hour and costs around 30 EGP. Upon arrival at Edfu train station, you can take a local taxi to the temple for about 10 EGP.
