Car
If you are traveling by car from the center of Mount Sinai, head east on Sinai Road (Route 2) towards the coast. Continue for approximately 30 km until you reach the town of Dahab. From Dahab, follow the signs towards Mashraba dive site. It is located near the coast, and you can park in designated areas close to the dive site. Be aware of local parking regulations.
Public Transportation
To reach Mashraba dive site using public transportation, take a bus or shared taxi from Mount Sinai to Dahab. Look for the 'Dahab' sign at the bus station in Mount Sinai. The journey takes about 1 hour and costs around 20 EGP. Once in Dahab, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to take you to the Mashraba dive site for a small fee. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand.
Walking
If you are already in Dahab and prefer to walk, the Mashraba dive site is about 3 km from the main town center. Head south along the coastline, following the signs for the dive site. The walk takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Ensure you stay hydrated and wear appropriate footwear, as some areas may be rocky.
